「高處及吊運工作安全與酷熱環境下預防中暑」網上講座 (2020年7月31日)
為配合本年的「建造業安全推廣活動2020」的主題－「高處工作安全、挖土機安全操作及酷熱天氣下工作安全推廣」，我們推出一系列的活動，包括「建造業安全大獎2020」，舉辦多個講座及透過工會、商會及媒體推廣安全訊息，提醒大家「良好工作安全態度：做完、做啱、做好」，以預防意外發生。
有鑑於近月建造業發生多嚴重意外事故，當中部分與高處工作及吊運安全有關，加上近期天氣持續酷熱，增加工友於工作間中暑的風險。有見及此，職安局將於2020年7月31日(星期五)舉辦「高處及吊運工作安全與酷熱環境下預防中暑」網上講座。講座邀請勞工處代表講解高處工作之意外個案分析及預防措施與吊運安全，而職安局代表亦會講解懸空式竹棚架工作安全和簡介「職安健星級企業 - 裝修及維修業安全認可計劃」，以及酷熱環境下工作預防中暑貼士。詳情如下:

An accident happened on the afternoon of 30 Jun 2020 on a construction site at Chek Lap Kok, in which two workers while repairing a machine were struck by the wire rope of the machine. One of them died and the other injured.
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) would like to deliver this safety message for your attention. It would be much appreciated if you could distribute the message below to your fellow members, relevant personnel or other industry stakeholders where appropriate.

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is highly concerned about the recent serious accidents involving lifting operation. In view of this, the CIC focuses on lifting operation safety this year, which includes conducting a holistic review on safety training courses for lifting operation of CIC, newly launching Certificate for Lifting Safety Supervisors training course, developing a VR lifting safety training module as well as a series of promotions for technical issues, in order to enhance safety awareness of lifting operation.
The representatives from the CIC, Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) and Labour Department will share the latest information of lifting operation safety . Through the webinar, it is hoped that the participants will have a better understanding on lifting operation safety and implement the safety practices promptly.
