  Dear Members,

   

  Notice of the 35th SRSO Annual General Meeting and Executive Council Members Election and Invitation to SRSO Annual Safety Seminar 2026 & 35th Anniversary Dinner

   

  Notice is hereby given that the 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society of Registered Safety Officers (SRSO) will be held on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 at 7:00 pm in hybrid mode, either participate in person at Room QR 610, 6/F, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Hong Kong or virtually via Teams Meeting for the following purposes:
   
  1. To confirm the Minutes of the 34th AGM.
  2. To review and endorse the Annual report of the Executive Council for Session 2025/2026.
  3. To review and endorse the Financial Report of the Society for Session 2025/2026.

  4. To announce and approve the results of elected Executive Council Members of the Society for the 2026-2028 term.

   

  Following our previous letter, we are pleased to announce that twelve (12) candidates have been nominated for the Executive Council Election for the 2026-2028 term. Since there are only 12 nominations, and the maximum number required for the new Executive Council has not been exceeded, a voting exercise will not be necessary. The nominations for the new Executive Council Members for the 2026-2028 term are submitted for approval in the AGM.

  Besides, we would like to invite you to join the SRSO Annual Safety Seminar 2026 and 35th Anniversary Dinner will be held on Friday, 26 June 2026 at Royal Plaza Hotel 193 Prince Edward Road West, Kowloon. The tentative event details are as follows:

  The 3-hour Annual Safety Seminar will bring together more than 100 participants, primarily from the construction industry. This year’s theme is “Beyond Compliance: Excellence in Safety.” In the evening session, we are honoured to welcome Mr. FONG Hok-shing, Michael, JP, Director of Civil Engineering and Development, as our Guest of Honour. The event will also provide an excellent opportunity for VIP guests, leaders from various sectors and safety organizations, members, and safety practitioners to connect, exchange ideas, and share in the occasion.
