Is it safe to work in a nuclear power plant? After the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011, there has been significant interest in the understanding of nuclear power plant (NPP) operation, more so, the OSH hazards and risk control measures associated with workers at NPP. In this site visit, we will talk to the OSH manager of DBNPP and exchange knowledge and practice in OSH. We will also visit the Simulation Room with a briefing on the training of plant operators, and the Emergency Centre to understand how plant personnel mitigate incidents. Details of the visit are as follows:

Cost: Free to members of organisers and supporters (including transportation and lunch) but a deposit of $300 is required.
